From what I understand your body enters ketosis when you eat very little carbs because your body burns carbs first and then burns fat. So is it safe to say that if you are on a very low calorie diet and still eat carbs, your body will enter ketosis after you burn all the calories you have been eating on your low calorie diet?
Should you count Calories as well as Carbs on Induction? Do Calories matter on the Atkins Diet? Perhaps, but more importantly should you obsess over them like an accoutant with the company’s books? That answer is unequivocally no. During Induction IMO, you are relearning your way of eating and living and are already denying yourself former comfort foods. Adding the burden of counting Calories on top of that seems prohibitive and fraught with delving back into a Low Cal, Low fat mindset …

I am a 19 year old female, 5′4 and 105lbs. Im already underweight, but dont have the figure i want due to where my body stores fat. Im just after a flat stomach, which involves cardio workouts. Except im losing weight really quickly by doing aerobic exercise and i dont want to be an unhealthy weight. Any tips?
Im eating about 1000 calories a day, i find that if i eat little amounts of food i feel way better about myself because my stomach looks flatter, instantly.
I have a really,really important audition for a ballet lined up in a week and a half. The casting director (who happens to be an acquaintance of mine) says I have a great chance at getting the part if I drop about 5-10 pounds by then. I know fad diets aren’t really the best idea, but even if I exercise like crazy and cut my calories more than I already have I still won’t lose that much weight on time. I thought about going on a seafood diet, but eating too much seafood will make me sick. Anyone have any ideas? Did I emphasis just how incredibly important this job is to my ballet career???
